Rushing for the Exits

Oregon is about to be hit with legislative turnover not seen since 1998-1999, the last time that term limits took their toll before being overturned by the State Supreme Court. By the time the 2023 Legislature convenes, at least 40 of the seats will be occupied by Legislators who will be new since the beginning of the 2021 session. Perhaps more.

What does this mean for Cascade/NGrC clients? Simple, get out your calendar, because it's time to start scheduling meetings and tours with the brand new members, and time to start watching legislative races and getting to know the potential newcomers who could sweep into power in November of this year.
