Making A Difference for Labor and Fish
Updated: Apr 25
Recently, Cascade worked with a coalition of business, labor and angling advocates. As part of the campaign, we spoke to the 300+ members at the Washington Building and Construction Trades Council Conference. Without question, union members in the Northwest are interested in both fish AND jobs.
Jobs and the foundation for those jobs - - clean, carbon-free hydro-power and the economy that it supports - - and how to best ensure strong fish runs in the Pacific Northwest. We need a balanced approach.
The campaign generated over 4,500 emails to Pacific Northwest and National policymakers.
